Embraco, a Brazilian compressor manufacturer that is a brand in the Nidec Global Appliance portfolio, will be presenting an array of commercial refrigeration products at the Virtual Trade Show (VTS), including NEX fixed-speed compressors for retail display cases and professional kitchens – a new platform premiering at this event.
“The portfolio that will be displayed are future-proof solutions for food retail and foodservice, complying with the cold chain needs and international regulations,” said Embraco.
VTS, hosted by shecco, will take place over 24 hours, beginning at 10am CEST on September 1, with 75 exhibiting companies. Interested parties can attend for free by registering here.
Embraco plans to host a webinar during VTS, “Embraco Variable Speed solutions with Smart Drop-in feature,” on September 1, at 3pm CEST, with Michel Moreira, Senior Sales Manager at Nidec Global Appliance.
The NEX compressors, which represent a fourth generation after the NE, NEK and NEU series, will feature improvements in energy efficiency of up to 10% and higher cooling capacity with the extension of the maximum displacement from 18 to 21cc, said Embraco in a statement. The NEX series, approved for R290 and HFCs, is designed for food retail and, especially, foodservice, in applications such as professional kitchen reach-ins, under-counter and display cases.
Another line to be showcased at VTS, EH R290 compressors for foodservice reach-ins, is a recent launch. Also on tap is the NTX compressor series for ice machines and multi-deck reach-ins; it is the next generation of the NT series, “developed to address the increasing demand for high energy efficiency and lower noise levels in large cooling capacity compressors for commercial refrigeration equipment,” said Embraco. The NTX compressors are approved for higher refrigerant charge.
The NJX fixed-speed line of compressors for cold rooms, milk coolers and ice cream makers is a new and extended generation of the NJ series, reaching up to 2HP on a single piston compressor, said Embraco. They are available in R290 and low-GWP “transitory refrigerant” options.
Embraco’s FMF compressor line-up for supermarkets features variable speed and uses R290. It is bivolt, operating at rated voltages of 110V and 220V, and works in a wide rpm range, said Embraco.
“The portfolio that will be displayed are future-proof solutions for food retail and foodservice, complying with the cold chain needs and international regulations.”
