German engineering firm Refolution, which recently installed a heat recovery system for a cryogenic sauna operator, will discuss its refrigeration services at the Virtual Trade Show Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Virtual Trade Show, featuring 77 exhibitors and more than 3,000 attendees, will take place live around the world over a 24-hour period on September 1-2. shecco, publisher of this website, is hosting the event. It is free to attend, and interested parties can register here
Refolution says its focus is “sustainable industrial refrigeration technology,” using natural refrigerants such as air, water, propane and ammonia. The company offers optimization, planning and consulting; project management; and special plant construction.
Refolution just installed a heat recovery system for Coolinn, a German cryotherapy operator. This follows Coolinn’s installation last October of an air-cycle refrigeration unit from Mirai Intex, which uses only air as a refrigerant. This Mirai unit keeps Coolinn’s cryogenic sauna sauna running at -115°C (-175°F).
To achieve “maximum efficiency” before the winter, Refolution installed the heat recovery system linked to the refrigeration system. “The cold sauna can now heat the complete building with its waste heat and the customer doesn´t need any additional heating,” said Thomas Frank, CEO of Refolution.
